Dear Troops

Remember how good life was when you had a place
to go for all of your wood finishing questions and
know you were getting the right answer??  Well, we
still do!  I urge each and everyone of you who can,
even if you don't read groopmail everyday, to offer
your humble support to this gracious Groop.  I beg
you to help in continuing a tradition that yet has
countless years of knowledge just waiting to be
scooped up.

You know who you are, and so do I.  You need
Groop, and Groop needs you.  Everyone of Class of
2008, please respond to this thread and let the class
of 2009 know where the road has taken you after
graduation.  Offer stories of inspiration and
encouragement.  We have been blessed with a Great
profession, mentor, and others finishers to help us
along.

Two years ago I was a "nobody" professionally
speaking.  I had the right attitude but nowhere to use
it.  The National Institute of Wood Finishing and it's
backbone M.Kohanek came to my rescue.  I was put
on the right track and kept working as hard as I could
to learn the most I could doing things the RIGHT
way.  I am now raising a family and have a great job
with a great future.  Right now we are restoring the
Rostrum in the Kansas House of Representatives.
Wow, what an awesome job. I Never stop learning.

slow you'll get knocked off" - Mitch Rogers
