This clock face was wrapped
in bubble by the moving company. Itıs hard to
photograph but the entire face is covered with small round disfigurements
corresponding to the size and shape of the bubble wrap. So I need your help.
What is bubble wrap made from?
What might it be outgasing? What finish might be affected by
such gasses? It appears that there is a later clear coating, perhaps lacquer,
over the original paint?
The clock was purchased in England
20+ years ago. I welcome your thoughts.
