Groop,
As I was cleaning out the old paint left by the customer,
out of this chair back, I realized that this tool
is too valuable to keep to myself.
It acts like a real little wood rasp and will leave scratches,
be careful and do not apply very much pressure.
They are a round high tensile strength wire
with carbide imbedded in a coating.
They are made by Remington Arms for the tile trade.
They will cut circles out of tiles, cut Pepsi Bottles
in half and they are even hard enough to cut a file in half.
I find all kinds of uses for them.
I needed a very small file to help me
in this paint removal job and this fit the bill.
They are available at your local hardware store.
I bought this one at a True Value.
Now, all I have to do, is scrape a little gunk out if the creases.
