Sanding Blocks from Scraps
Way I see it, about 40% of time spent doing an
average shop repair involves sanding/surfacing.
Here is a idea that will help both in the
time spent and achieve a better surface.
In the photo we cut out pieces from ¾" scrap plywood.
We make these blocks out of almost any thickness.
Depends entirely on what happens to be in the trashcan that given day.
In the photo we use 100 and 60 grit sandpaper.
In the finishing shop blocks made using 280 or 360 grit
come in handy for surfacing grooves and hard to reach areas.
