The larger unit is 15 years old and smaller one about 8.
The smaller unit is the one of choice due to size of more
common cuttings. It has the improvement in using stacked
Baltic Birch Plywood to entirely eliminate any possibility of
warpage over it's entire 40" length and can take a 14" panel.
The larger one is 48" long but can take a 21" panel.
The carrier on both is 1/4" MDF.
We use the slide for obtaining the maximum accuracy
when needed, repeat cuttings with stop block or
when pieces are too small for the miter gauge.
