Hi Groop
Here is my new building that was started the first part of April 2002.
The company took only 3 days to erect the shell.
The next week was the concrete. I left the concrete cure for a week
then I started on the interior work myself --
which I did Monday - Thursday till 10 or 11 each night.
I would take the weekends off to go to the lake for some R&R.
We started to move in the first part of August,
and finished Labor Day weekend.
This process was a long time coming.
January 2003 we start our 20th year of owning
and my 23 year of working in the business.
The idea of waking up in the morning and
walking to work instead of driving is wonderful.
Thank you for allowing me to share with my pictures
and feel free to ask any questions about the process.

These pictures are of the insulation process.
We had a company come in and spray foam
and then I put 6" of batting over the top.
After I installed the ceiling they came back and blew 14" in the attic.
.
.
This is our main work room -- 32' x 40'.
We do our sanding, repair, and staining on one side
and our finishing on the other.
.
.
This room is my stripping and storage area.
The room is 16' x 40' with an overhead door
for receiving those larger pieces of furniture.
.
My front showroom and office area is roughly 16' x 24' .
I bring my furniture that is completed and ready for pickup to this room.
.
Our 16' x 16' store room is off the main room and is the door on the left.

In here we store our lumber for repair and our over-flow storage.
The shop heating and cooling unit is hung from the ceiling.
This allows us to still have the floor space .
