The water rinse area is 8' x 5.5'. I made it as close to the
floor as I could and still get a pan under it to catch the water.
This way, I don't get soaked.
The pan that catches the water is 42", leaving enough room
for a deck - 2' x 8' - which I built to the top of the pan (3").
This keeps my feet from getting soaked
and I can spray down on everything.
The back and deck side are sloped 1"and drain to the corner.
I have the walls lined with ribbed barn siding, overlapped so no
water will get behind it. I got this Idea using Steve Austin's
thoughts and experiences (especially the getting soaked part).
Now I don't have to rinse and strip everything in one pan.
With this set-up, I strip something and set it to the back of the
pan to drain while I soak something else with stripper. Then I take
the first piece to the rinse area and rinse it, tilt it up to drain, and
go back to stripping the piece I soaked with stripper
Keeping that work flow going I can really move some furniture.
