Hey John Keane!

I don't know if I'll get my own Subject Box for this,
but my name is Ben Myre and I was also in Mitch
the K's class of 2008.  It sure was a blast!  Though I
was very sad to leave my buddy, er, teacher, Mitch
and all his wisdom, I was very excited to start my
new career and life down in Topeka Kansas with
my new buddy, er, boss, Dave Macfee at Macfee
Refinishing.  Boy has it ever gotten exciting!   I love
going to work everyday and facing a new "problem"
and that feeling doesn't seem like it's going to fade
anytime soon... it appears that the more I work, the
more I learn, and the more I learn, the more exciting
it gets, and the more exciting it gets.....etc....

I first found a interest in wood finishing a few years
back when I was in Red Wing Minnesota learning
how to build acoustic guitars.  Like anything else,
there was a RIGHT way to do it!!  The teacher,
Brian Bodigheimer, had been a student of Mitch's a
few years prior, so needless to say when we visited
Mitch, I was hooked.  And the funny thing was,
even though we never finished a guitar in anything
but lacquer, Brian still taught us about shellac... and
thence the addiction began.

I myself am 26 years old, got married 13 months
ago right as DCTC classes began to my wife Kristi,
and we have a 4 month old Baby Boy named Jack

I have sent in my doos so I feel I am an official
member

Ben,
