weighed 4 lbs. 10 oz. at birth.
He is now down to 4 lbs. 6 oz.
He will be named at his circumcision ceremony, bris,
our 4000 year old tradition, about a month from now.
Normally, this ceremony is eight days after birth,
but when the boy is pre-term and there are health issues,
then everything gets put on hold.
According to our custom, the minimum weight
is 5 lbs. 8 oz. and gaining an ounce a day.
