Hello everyone.  I thought this might qualify for entry into the

Hall of Shame.

 

A customer brought in this Chippendale Mirror for repair the

other day.  Any guesses as to what a "restorer" used to mold a

piece of missing trim?  Bubble Gum!  Chewed it, shaped it, and

painted it antique gold.
