I am primarily an upholsterer doing period antique work,
mostly furniture and antique auto trim at the "high end".
One man shop, about 25 years.
I am a full service guy who likes the challenge of
handling whatever comes through the door,
as long as it is old, challenging
(and the money is green).
Gold leaf, faux finish, carving, turning, veneer etc.
I have a steady stream of cane and rush chairs
thanks to partnering with a retired, blind, caner
(who could teach us all something) and other repairs.
No LazyBoy's, no Volkswagens.
I am into old tools, big time,
not so much as a collector but as a USER.
I also do repairs and "touch ups" for collectors.
I am committed to the Groop.
