Started learning to repair furniture in 1971, working for my family's auction business. I worked through the years learning the refinishing business, by hands on school of hard knocks.
Then in 1984 started refinishing business full time.
Now my business is Antique restoration, consisting of repairs, veneering, touchups, restoring finishes and marble repair. I am still a one man shop (hoping to expand) that is the "Best in Town" according to my clients, as most of my new clients are referrals. I attend seminars, read books as well as subscribe to pro refinishing, american woodworker and woodshop news to learn as much as I can.
