Some of the manufacturers at that time were Leon Marcotte, Pottier and 
Stymus and Allen Bros. Herter Bros. Although many excellent german carvers
were being utilized at this time, yours seems to have standard, machine made
decoration.The Metropolitan Museum of Art is mounting a large exhibition of
this period this summer.
