Bondo is one brand name for a polyester filler, originally, primarily 
used in auto body repair, now used extensively in furniture repair.  

(Manufacturers use tons!)  There are many versions.  

Mohawk sells one that is a tan color, useful for wood repair.  
Can be colored.
