Roger do you know which model Palm Pilot it is equivalent to? I think they
have about four models. Did you have to buy any options or were you able
to do all you needed to do with the standard features?
Also did you have to buy special software for your PC or
were you able to load the PDA software into your PC ?
Thanks,

Roger, I use 2 palm pilots. One is older. I have imported over 600
contacts on them from my Mac computer. Nice to have when on the
road. I want to import my customer data base on them but haven't
yet (4000 customers).
The only advice I have for you is not to try to use them while driving.

Hey Roger,
You're right 'bout the palm pilot units. But there is the old trick of learnin'
the darn thing. I picked up one last year, 'bout august. I planned to phase
out my day book. I am still in transition. Its about taking the time to transfer
address book info w/ special notes attatched thereto. I wanted to do the
transfer myself -- I should have got that in order before I started using the
new one.
A clue to anyone who is willing to switch. Just like any other new addition
to your bag of tools, Plan time to learn it, and prep it properly.
There is a program you can get to go along with it called Teal. Its lets you
sketch some. I have installed it , but not used it yet. And naturally, for the
mac it cost more.
My heart breaks, the cowboys lost. heh heh!
