Nice shop. Guess its too late to ask that you deliver those 8
dumpster loads to me. :) I bet there were treasures to be found.

Gary and Mary Herbold,
Really nice shop.
I moved home last year and the one thing that I did was to paint the entire
shop inside white. "Z-Prime" and two coats of white semi-gloss white/white.
This is insurance for color matching in the future and it is one of the things
that you must do for color matching and for spreading the existing light all
over the project. If you can't paint it all, at least paint as much as you can
and be sure to paint where you will be doing the finishing. The reflected
colors from surrounding areas will affect the finished color. A greenish
ceiling will make the reds appear to be browner that they really are.
A yellowish ceiling will bring out the yellows and
I think that you get the picture............
Also the lighting fixtures need the white back ground for the getting the
most light from the fixture to the floor. 80% of the light can be lost due
to poor reflection. It will be like doubling the amount of fixtures with a
little paint. The dark beams will eat light like Godzilla. A fluorescent
tube is round.. 20% of it is pointed at the floor, the rest of the tube is
pointed at the walls and the ceiling. This makes the white ceiling a
must in a good refinishing shop.
