RE: Makita Table Saw

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I found a Makita repair facility in 
Dallas and I'll call them tomorrow and report back on my findings.

I bought the 2708 about 2 yrs ago just before DeWalt came out 
with their portable 10 in saw which has a much larger table (will 
rip 24 1/2 in) and more features.  Its down to $399 at Lowe's now.
