RE: Work Station Heights

Fred McLean writes:

In our shop, we use a battery operated, portable lift table for work
positioning.

Correct height work benches are important, but the pieces you are
working on are often different heights. The variable height that the
lift table gives you really helps. It's nice to be able to work on
drawers runners or doors on cases at eye level without bending over or
sitting on the floor to see exactly what is going on with them.

We also use it load and unload 55 gallon drums , furniture , etc. off
tucks.

It is also used as a portable work platform to change light bulbs or
work overhead on air or electrical , or to work on the top of a large
wardrobe without having to lay it over.

They can also be used for lifting a piano or a piece of machinery for
repair or inspection.

Lift tables have hundreds of uses.
