Who is Groop?
|
When our founder, Alan Marriage,created the Professional Refinisher’s Group in 1998, it was meant to be a forum mainly for those professionals in the furniture refinishing business. Built upon the generosity of those early members, and Alan's steadfast guidance, the number of subscribers increased. As new members joined it became clear the membership was becoming much more diverse than the name "Professional Refinisher's Group" would indicate. What started as a small network of refinishers was evolving into an amazing diversity of men and women in many fields. Refinishing businesses remain prominent in Groop, but the list of differing member specialties continues to expand (see list on this page) and our collective base of experience grows with it. Groop is made up of professionals at all levels of experience and education. We have members who have been in their trade over 50 years, along with others who started from scratch last year. Whoever it is or whatever the question about business may be; We help each other and share our common interest. This is one of many qualities that distinguish Groop.
